~ Chocolate Banana Bread ~


Ingredients 

180 g flour
113.5 g creme fraiche
100 g caster sugar
3-4 very ripe bananas
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
50 g olive oil
255 g plain chocolate chips (could use 170 g plain and 85 g peanut butter chips)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 180 C.
  2. Grease and square baking pan.
  3. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  4. Smash bananas in a separate bowl, add creme fraiche, vanilla, egg and oil.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix.
  6. Fold in 170 g  of chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter into greased loaf pan. 
  8. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over the top of batter.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
